A Outcomes
What you can expect.
- A migration plan for every workload, with costs and risks understood up front
- Predictable cutovers with no surprise downtime
- A secure, well-governed cloud landing zone
- Lower run costs through post-migration optimization
B The path
Five phases. Zero guesswork.
Every migration follows the same proven path, adapted to the size and risk of your environment.
-
01 · READINESS
Assess
Discovery tooling, dependency mapping, TCO model and cloud-readiness scoring.
-
02 · BLUEPRINT
Plan
Landing zone design, 6R decision for every workload and wave planning.
-
03 · WAVES
Migrate
Wave-by-wave execution with rehearsals, change control and cutover runbooks.
-
04 · GO / NO-GO
Validate
Functional, performance and security testing with business sign-off.
-
05 · STEADY STATE
Optimize
Right-sizing, reserved capacity, FinOps reporting and hand-off to support.
C Strategy
The 6 Rs: the right move for each workload.
Not everything should move the same way. We decide workload by workload. Select a strategy to see when we use it.
R1 · Lift & shift
Rehost
You need to exit a data center quickly and the application runs well as it is.
- Effort
- Cloud benefit
D Risk controls
Built-in safety for every cutover.
- Documented rollback plan for every wave
- Full rehearsal in a staging environment before production cutover
- Data validation with checksums and record counts
- Change windows agreed with the business, outside peak hours
- Security baseline: identity, encryption, logging and least privilege
- Daily stand-ups and a weekly RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies)
? FAQ
Common questions.
Which cloud should we choose?
It depends on your existing licensing, skills, applications and compliance needs. We work across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud and give a vendor-neutral recommendation during assessment.
How long does a migration take?
Small environments can move in 4–8 weeks. Larger estates are migrated in waves over 3–12 months, so value arrives early and risk stays low.
Will there be downtime?
We design every cutover to minimize downtime, usually within a planned maintenance window. Many workloads can be migrated with near-zero downtime using replication.
Do you only manage the project, or do the hands-on work too?
Both. We can act as your migration project management office alongside your engineers, or deliver the migration end-to-end.
